LADIES COURSE
BEGINNER I |
A maximum of 6 participants from the age of 18 |
6 h course duration + 1 h lunch break (09 - 12 and 13 - 16 o'clock) |
Meeting point is the parking lot for hikers at the "Nassen Dreieck", 48477 Hörstel. We will meet at the parking lot at 08:30 at the latest. We will be start with a small welcome round. |
During the one-hour lunch break there is the possibility to have something to eat. Participation at the lunch is not obligatory. Each participant is responsible for their own costs. |
COURSE CONTENT |
Bikecheck/Bikefitting |
Find the right position on the bike and learn to gear and brake correctly |
Learning the basic techniques such as track stand, pedal position, overcoming barriers and applying them in exercises |
Getting safe driving and confidence in the material |
REQUIREMENTS |
Technically correct mountain bike and equipment |
Approved, undamaged helmet |
Snacks for in between |
RECOMMENDATIONS |
We recommend wearing long-finger gloves and glasses in the Ladies Course Beginner I. It is advantageous to bring at least one bycicle tube. In case of technical difficulties, we will be happy to help and advise you. |
Due to the Corona restrictions, group courses are currently limited to max. 2 participants. Children's and Youth courses are possible with 6 participants.

Bikecheck |
Short review of the basics (track stand, bunny hop, pedal position, position on the bike etc.) |
Advanced riding techniques (riding down stairs, riding over roots and rocks, etc.) |
Application of the learned riding techniques as well as implementation in the terrain |
Practice on the trail (riding in corners, riding with foresight, bike control) |

RECOMMENDATIONS |
The Ladies Course Beginner II builds on the Beginner I course. Therefore, we recommend prior participation in the Beginners' Course I. We also recommend wearing knee protectors. Furthermore we recommend to bring at least one bycicle tube. If you have any technical difficulties, we will be happy to help and advise you. |
